Description

Yellow Blossom Sweet Clover grows 4-6 feet tall and blooms in its 2nd year. It is commonly used for a Plow Down crop (green manure) and hay, pasture and bees. Yellow Blossom Sweet Clover tolerates lower fertility and dryer conditions. It does contain Coumarin, a chemical that can cause bleeding when the hay is improperly cured. Planting conditions:

  • Use 15 pounds per acre
  • Plant January-April or Late Summer
