Laredo Haybeans

A late-maturing soybean variety used for hay.

Description

Laredo Haybeans plant height is tall and very bushy, creating very rich tonnage with high protein. It is sometimes planted with german millet for added roughage, but the german millet will mature before the haybeans. Optimal cutting is when the pods begin setting.

Planting Conditions:

  • Drill 40-50 lbs. per acre straight or drill 40 lbs with 15-20 lbs german millet
  • Planting time May through July
