Description

Centurion Annual Ryegrass is a versatile option for dairies, beef operations, hay producers, and growers looking for a strong cover crop. It has been tested across the U.S. and consistently delivers reliable performance where it matters most.

In university trials across 15 locations and 29 trials over eight years, Centurion averaged 109 percent of trial means compared to competing varieties. It establishes quickly and aggressively, helping suppress weeds, capture residual nitrogen, and build organic matter. Deep roots improve soil structure while supporting strong forage production.

Centurion’s proven winter hardiness allows it to perform through colder conditions, making it suitable for fall and spring grazing, hay, or cover crop use. Proper fertility and nitrogen management help maximize yield and forage quality, with best hay quality achieved when harvested at the boot stage.
