Twister Hybrid Brassica

Twister Hybrid Brassica delivers highly palatable forage, early-season grazing, and excellent production for livestock, wildlife food plots, and diverse cover crop mixes.

Description

Highly Palatable • Fast Establishing • Excellent Production

Twister is a hybrid rape × turnip cross developed by Peak Plant Genetics for forage and cover crop use. It produces a highly palatable green top, often called a leafy turnip, making it excellent in grazing mixes with winter annual small grains, spring-planted oats, or Italian ryegrass. Twister can be combined with other brassica species to provide earlier forage than traditional turnips or radishes. It’s also ideal for wildlife food plots, attracting whitetail deer earlier in the season without requiring a hard freeze. In cover crop mixes, Twister can be planted in fall, spring, or summer, offering diversity and nutrient scavenging. Its residue breaks down rapidly, adding organic matter and improving soil health.
